Micro Fiber (Micro Gel Fiber)

Micro Fiber or sometime called Micro Gel Fiber are used mostly to fill pillows. Its fine consistency gives it a silk like nature. Duvets and pillows which are filled by micro fibers, are a cost-effective alternative for down and feather filled ones. The microfiber, like hollow fiber and solid fiber, are polyester fiber. They can be virgin (made by PET chips) or recycled (made by PET flakes). So, they are hypoallergenic and beneficial for those who suffer from allergies. Moreover, maintaining bed stuff made by micro fiber is easy. They can be easily washed and dried. Therefore, they are among high durable products.

Manufacturing method of Micro fibers

Generally speaking, the process of polyester fiber manufacturing is same in all types of hollow, solid and microfiber; they are made by melt spinning process. In Diba Fiber Arian Company, these three types of synthetic polyester fiber are produced by melting PET followed by extruding through spinnerets in order to form long threads. In the next step, these long threads are cooled and harden to form fiber.
